Management Staff at Buffalo Pediatrics

Melissa has been a valued member of Buffalo Pediatric Associates since 2011 and currently serves as Executive Director, overseeing operations across both offices. She earned her degree in Healthcare Administration from SUNY Brockport and is a PCMH Certified Content Expert through NCQA. Melissa is actively involved in the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Section on Administration and Practice Management (SOAPM) and other pediatric management initiatives.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys being with her three children, often cheering from the sidelines at softball games. She also enjoys reading, crafting, and exploring ways to support families and staff in delivering exceptional pediatric care.

Jean has dedicated her career to serving children and families, driven by her belief that engaged families are the foundation of a healthy society. She currently serves as Director of Finance at Buffalo Pediatric Associates, where she has been an integral part of the team since 1994. Jean has extensive expertise in practice management, administration, and strategic planning. A native of Western New York, she completed her undergraduate studies at Canisius College and earned a Master in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Chicago.

Outside of work, Jean enjoys hiking, gardening, travel, and writing, and practices mindfulness awareness meditation. She is the founder of the nationally recognized school community garden, Seeds of Living Education / The Giving Garden, in Hamburg, where she resides with her family and their Australian Shepherd.

Rachel is a native of Buffalo and has worked with Buffalo Pediatrics since 2012. She graduated from Erie County Community College and began as a nurse, progressing into the role as our Clinical Nurse Manager. She enjoys spending her free time with family, spoiling her dogs, cooking, traveling, and cheering on the best football team in the NFL, the Buffalo Bills.
